Yeah, I appreciated what he was going for with the throwback to 70s sitcoms, but some of it just didn't work. I'm glad his wife from that show showed up on Louie though, they were always really funny together.
and the fact louis ck writes, produces, directs and stars in it shows what a fucking badass he is
surely. have to say this show is much better than lucky louie. the standup bits are just priceless
I think it got renewed more because of it's relative cheapness to produce than anything else, but something good being done in the name of not really giving a fuck is still something good, right?
louie is awesome. got renewed for a 2nd season so I guess we aren't the only ones watching
